The most frightening thing to me is that Trump threatens military action without regard for the human suffering involved. In this case it's Iran, but he's made the threats with Greenland, Gaza and perhaps even Canada. He's playing games with the Russian invasion of Ukraine.  The same is true of his cancellation of USAID or his sudden mass firings of federal employees without cause. These are not on all on the same level but he is totally focused on his own power with no thought for the harm he is doing now or could cause if he followed through with his threats.
